This is the great wine of the Castello, born from the Mormoreto vineyard planted in 1976. The wine was produced  with the 1983 vintage and since then it has been produced in the most favourable years; 1984, 1987, 1989, 1992, 1998 and 2002. The Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot vines, planted 150 years ago, have brilliantly merged with the land, enhancing its unique character. It is an opulent, deep wine of great finesse and longevity. The vintage '97 at Castello di Nipozzano was particularly positive for the quality of the grapes harvested. The year was marked by a spring frost which reduced the yields, raising the quality of wine to very high levels.

This Barolo comes from the Cannubi vineyard of the Einaudi Farm, facing south and south-east, and made  of grey-white marls of Sant'Agata, rich in sand. Vinification takes place in steel wine makers, with fermentation temperature between 30-32°C, then post-fermentation maceration,  racking after 22-25 days and finally  decanting with temperature control. Thirty months of maturation in oak barrels, then a long rest in the bottle to complete the refinement.

Pepe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is produced with pure grapes of the homonymous variety, coming from 30 years old vines standing on clayey and medium texture soil. In the vineyard are scrupulously followed the dictates of organic farming integrating them with some biodynamic practices, although the idea of grapes and healthy soil was already rooted in Emidio's mentality.

In the winery, manual destemming of the grapes and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in vitrified cement tanks followed by bottling and decanting by hand without filtration. The liquid ages 24 months in cement tanks.

Barolo Ornato Pio Cesare is the bottle in the company's range dedicated to enthusiasts who love the austere and profound character of the great Barolo wines of the Serralunga d'Alba area. It is a wine that can be drunk immediately, but improves if allowed to reach full expressive maturity after a few years of ageing in the cellar. It is ruby red in colour with garnet highlights. Elegant and complex, it expresses aromas of aromatic herbs, balsamic nuances, aromas of small red berries, underbrush, slightly spicy and mineral sensations. Structured and intense, it is characterised by a dense tannic texture and an austere and long sip, which stretches straight and severe towards a very persistent and fresh finish. A true champion of the denomination.

The San Giuseppe Farm is about 15 hectares of woodland, olive trees from 1920 and vineyards (about 6 hectares). Avignonesi's Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva Grandi Annate is made from Sangiovese grapes, and is the result of the spontaneous and separate vinification of 4 different vineyards, using indigenous yeasts and an 18-month period in French oak barrels, followed by a long period of refinement in the bottle, different for each vintage. It has a beautiful dark ruby colour, with dark reflections and a slightly orange hue. Very powerful nose, balsamic, truffle, undergrowth, wet earth, leather, dried flowers and cinchona. The taste is straight and powerful, fruity and spicy, with a long persistence. A truly mouth-watering bottle

Romano Dal Forno's Amarone Monte Lodoletta is made from the grapes traditionally grown in this wonderful hilly area: Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. The harvest is carried out with a selection in the vineyard of perfectly ripe and healthy bunches. The grapes are placed in the drying room to dry for about 4 months, so that they lose water and concentrate the aromas and sugars. The wine matures for at least 60 months in barriques before being bottled. It has a dark ruby red colour; on the nose it expresses elegance, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry, plum, liquorice root, soft spices, notes of bitter cocoa and chocolate. The sip is warm and enveloping, with dense, persistent aromas and smooth tannins. The finish is long and harmonious, a real fairytale!

Fattoria dei Barbi's Brunello di Montalcino is a milestone in the history and quality of this world-famous red wine. Tasting notes: Luminous garnet red color. Refined olfactory scenario, modulated with aromas of potpourri, cinnamon, mugwort, plum, cinchona and an echo of carcadè to define the contours. Fleshy and stimulating on the palate, with well-balanced tannins, elegant overall harmony and a lovely finish of rhubarb and citrus.

Romano Dal Forno's Valpolicella Superiore Monte Lodoletta is one of those labels that has the merit of being able to tell the history and traditions of a territory in a glass. It is a genuine wine of extraordinary typicality, elegance and pleasantness. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are vinified in red with maceration on the skins. Before bottling, the wine matures for 36 months in new barriques. In the glass it has an intense ruby red colour. The olfactory profile opens with aromas of cherry and ripe red fruit, notes of dried fruit, hints of noble wood and spices. On the palate it has a good structure, with a harmonious sip, fine tannins and a balanced finish, with a long finish on fruity tones. A true legend!

Arnaldo Caprai Sagrantino di Montefalco 25 Anni is the symbolic wine not only of a winery but of the whole appellation. Barolo Sottocastello di Novello Ca' Viola is made from Nebbiolo grapes grown on 2.3 hectares in Novello, in the Sottocastello cru. Here the vines grow at an altitude of 470 metres on calcareous and clayey soil of a sandy matrix and are fed with natural manure and green manure, without synthetic chemical products. In the cellar, spontaneous fermentation takes place for 35 days and the wine is aged in large casks for 36 months. It is an important wine, elegant and austere, with a luminous garnet colour and deep aromas of underbrush and spices. On the palate it is energetic and slender, structured and decisive, with thick and persistent tannins and final aromatic suggestions of tobacco and chocolate. A Barolo with great personality, capable of resting in the cellar for many many years.
