Extra Brut of Pinot Meunier La Closerie Les Béguines is a very particular Champagne. Jerome Prevost has chosen, in fact, to cultivate his little more than two hectares of vineyard located in Gueux, at the foot of Reims Mountains, with Pinot Meunier only. He began to commercialize his Champagne in 1998 and today the few thousands of bottles he produces are in great demand. The choice of making a single label, produced with a single plot and with a single grape variety, proved to be successful and allowed him to know so well the terroir and the characteristics of grapes, in order to create a Champagne of extraordinary quality. Fermentations take place with the use of indigenous yeasts in oak barrels and base wines are aged in wood until the creation of the cuvée.
The winery is located in the heart of the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, in the village of Ambonnay, on hilly terrain which, together with the particular micro-climate, makes it possible to obtain truly exceptional wines.
Full-bodied and structured, but at the same time fresh to drink thanks to the scents of red fruits that characterize it.
On the nose, in fact, it presents floral notes and develops an aromatic palette of peach and vine, accompanied by notes of honey.
It appears light yellow in colour with pale gold highlights.
Its unique taste comes from the 35% reserve wine that gives it a more evolved and complex character. An elegant and refined wine, it bears the name of the winery's oenologist son.
The Champagne Extra Brut Les Empreintes by Laherte Frères comes from the grapes of two old plots of land and is aged on the lees for about 72 months; the result of a sensitive and careful agricultural approach, it is a Champagne of great expressiveness, intense, taut and vibrant: a real thoroughbred.
Golden; fine and persistent perlage. The nose is rich and complex, with hints of exotic fruits and citrus fruits, almonds and candied fruit and hints of honey. On the palate it is very fresh, energetic, with a nice minerality and long persistence.
A classic Prosecco for aperitifs, soft and elegant, it is also an excellent accompaniment to fish dishes and first courses with vegetables. The fine perlage and ease of drinking make it a product appreciated by all palates.
Top of the range from Casa Gheller, Cartizze Dry is an extremely fine and elegant wine, with a perfect perlage and a sweetness that make it perfect for the whole meal and for the aperitif. Very few bottles are produced.
Champagne Original Brut Nature Louis Dousset is a cuvée of 60% Pinot Noir, Chardonnay40 %, produced in 40,000 bottles per year.
It has a beautiful straw yellow colour with lively bubbles forming a crown of pure white. Full of youth and energy.
On the nose, delicate aromas of fresh white flowers, panbrioché and quince. Brilliant, direct and above all enjoyable.
On the palate, soft and gentle at first, it then opens up to reveal a stronger character. The non-dosage provides the perfect accompaniment to a hint of acidity and the liveliness of the bubbles that tickle the palate. Delicate and very 'ish' with a clean, taut finish.
Champagne Assemblage Grand Cru Extra-Brut Louis Dousset is a cuvée of 50% Pinot Noir 50% Chardonnay, produced in 60,000 bottles per year.
Golden colour with sustained and constant effervescence.
On the nose, a truly spring-like bouquet with delicate aromas of peony and jasmine, a fresh note of almonds and the wonderful scent of fresh bread. The superb balance is a sign not only of the quality of the terroir, but also of the long ageing in the cellar.
On the palate, good balance between freshness and body, soft effervescence on the tongue and modest dosage combine to produce a silky texture. The same aromas that were evident on the nose are reflected on the palate, plus a touch of minerality on the finish that is both pleasantly fresh and satisfyingly full.
Cabochon Doppiozero Brut Nature, born from a production of only 3000 bottles, for a label of extreme class. It presents itself to the glass with a slightly golden yellow colour with greenish reflections.
It seduces the nose with a broad bouquet marked by sweet floral hints of jasmine, chamomile and bergamot that blend well with fruity nuances of peach tobacco.
It makes its entrance on the palate with impetuousness and a decisive crispness, a persistent sip with a citrusy-floe-like return.
Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry Bandarossa is a tribute to the historic founder Giuliano Bortolomiol. Starting in the 1970s, he would draw an identifying symbol on his favourite Extra Dry wines with a red pencil, which he then reserved for his closest friends.
Hence the name Bandarossa, which since 1986 has become a national label and represents a selection of the most excellent Extra Dry wines produced by the winery.
Its success was remarkable, to the point of becoming one of the most appreciated and recognised bottles for its very high quality.
It is produced as a Millesimato from the best Glera grapes of the vintage, vinified according to the Martinotti method and dosed with the sugar level according to regulations.
Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Dry Superiore di Cartizze Bortolomiol is made from pure Glera grapes from vineyards located on the Cartizze hill, within the municipality of Valdobbiadene.
Harvesting takes place during the second half of September, strictly by hand. The traditional white vinification of the grapes precedes the "presa di spuma", which takes place according to the Martinotti method of re-fermentation inside autoclaves.
A rest on its lees for 30 to 90 days completes the course of this excellent Cartizze.
This Cuvée De Réserve Premier Cru Brut Gaston Chiquet comes from a blend of different plots, vines and vintages. The vineyards with an average age of around 25 years are located in the communes of Hautvillers, Dizy and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, all classified as Premieur Cru.
Here, the presence of chalk and marine fossils ensures the soil the necessary solar heat, excellent water drainage, good humidity in summer and a large supply of minerals. Harvesting is done by hand, fermentation takes place in small, temperature-controlled vats, and the wine stays on the lees for about five years.
A champagne of great balance and pleasantness.
