The Bellini cocktail is made with 1/3 white peach pulp juice (or yellow peach pulp smoothie), and 2/3 Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG. Fill with 4 ice cubes.
The Bellini was invented in 1948 by master Giuseppe Cipriani, it is said that a French merchant, who bought the particular white peaches in the city of Cesena and then resold them at the market in Venice called "The Market for the East", where Giuseppe Cipriani saw them and decided to combine them with Prosecco to create a new Cocktail "Il Bellini" dedicated to painter Giovanni Bellini on the occasion of the inauguration of the artist's exhibition.
Bellini Cocktail has some variations, it can be made with Champagne or Classic Method.
We suggest Prèvost Champagne Extra Brut La Closerie or Methius Trento DOC Brut Riserva Dorigati.
