Pepe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is produced with pure grapes of the homonymous variety, coming from 30 years old vines standing on clayey and medium texture soil. In the vineyard are scrupulously followed the dictates of organic farming integrating them with some biodynamic practices, although the idea of grapes and healthy soil was already rooted in Emidio's mentality.

In the winery, manual destemming of the grapes and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in vitrified cement tanks followed by bottling and decanting by hand without filtration. The liquid ages 24 months in cement tanks.

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Gli Angeli La Gerla 2007 comes from 25 year old vines located at 300 metres above sea level and trained on the spurred cordon system. Production is limited to very few bunches per vine (50 Qli/ha), the grapes are harvested by hand and the bunches are selected. Vinification takes place with soft pressing of the bunches, temperature control during fermentation (30°C), micro-oxygenation and maceration (15) days, 2 racking per year. It has a beautiful bright garnet red colour. On the nose, tertiary hints of wet earth, mushrooms and graphite are the intense prelude to the sweet succession of currants, jam and dried petals. Barbaresco Riserva Montefico dei Produttori del Barbaresco is produced from grapes grown at an altitude of about 250 metres, with a south, south-west exposure, in the Montefico cru of the same name. 

Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperature, with a period of maceration on the skins of about 4 weeks. The wine then matures for 36 months in oak barrels and completes its refinement with 12 months in the bottle. 

In the glass it has a ruby red colour tending towards garnet and offers floral scents, aromas of small red berries, sensations of spices and liquorice root. 

The taste is dynamic and vertical, with a delicate centre of the mouth and a very fresh and mineral finish. 

A great Barbaresco with a refined taste.

Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano dei Produttori del Barbaresco comes from south-facing vineyards located in the Langhe region between 200 and 400 metres above sea level, with a clayey soil rich in limestone, and a climate based on hot summers and cold winters. 

The harvest is done by hand and is brought forward a few days with respect to that of Barolo, after which the must is fermented in steel at a controlled temperature of 28°-30°C for 15-24 days and then begins ageing in wood for at least 36 months, resting then in the bottle for at least 6 months before release. 

Barbaresco Montestefano is a wine born for ageing, less austere than Barolo, but certainly more ready to drink; we are dealing with an elegant and full-bodied wine, structured, complex and full.

Grattamacco Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2016

Bolgheri Rosso Grattamacco is produced from the rows of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Sangiovese that embellish a vocated hill in the upper Maremma.

The vineyards are located in a natural cradle protected from the winds coming from the nearby sea, with an extension of 14 hectares on soils that alternate between silt, red sand and calcareous marl. The grapes are carefully selected through manual sorting and then transported to the winery. The must is vinified in truncated conical wooden vats, where fermentation takes place spontaneously.

It is only during refinement in barriques for about 10 months that the different varieties, which undergo malolactic fermentation separately, are blended to create what, after about a year and a half, will become Bolgheri Rosso.
