Brunello di Montalcino Vecchie Vigne Siro Pacenti 2012

Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Vecchie Vigne by Siro Pacenti, ages for two years in French oak barrique and is completed with a period of aging in glass. It is structured, elegant and complex, and above all it represents the fruit of the absolute respect for the land and nature, which is combined to secular experiences and traditions. Intense garnet red and luminous to the eye. It presents an articulated and complex bouquet, enriched by ripe berries, morello cherries and raspberry jam, then also by tertiary notes of leather, liquorice, spices and a touch of wood. Warm and full in the mouth, it is muscular and powerful in the mouth, supported by a noble and refined tannic texture and marked by a long persistence.

From some of the best vineyards of the Pacenti estate comes the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Pelagrilli. It offers delicate nuances on the one hand and decisive and powerful characters on the other. Il Tufiello – Sancho Panza 2017

Sancho Panza Il Tufiello is made from pure Fiano grapes, selected from plants located at 800 metres above sea level on a dry soil, treated only with copper and sulphur. After manual harvesting, the bunches are transported to the cellar for destemming and crushing and the start of alcoholic fermentation, which takes place spontaneously with maceration on the skins for about two months.

The liquid refines for a few months in steel before bottling, which takes place without filtering.

The Fiano Sancho Panza is presented in the glass with a golden yellow dress.

The nose is kaleidoscopic, with successive hints of lemon peel, chestnuts and broom, followed by a clear smoky return. Fineness and complexity, which we find again in an even more exciting taste.

Montemattina has a luminous orange colour with golden flashes.

On the nose, intense aromas of candied citrus fruit and dried fruit, including toasted hazelnut, notes of white and yellow flowers and wild herbs and hints of honey. In the mouth it is rich, dense and full, characterised by a vibrant savoury and slightly tannic finish.

Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Paganelli 2010

Il Poggione's Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Vigna Paganelli is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. Il Poggione cultivates the grapes that give life to this label within the I Paganelli vineyard, planted in 1964.

Once the grapes have been selected during the harvesting phase, they are vinified in steel, with submerged caps for 20 days, fermenting in steel thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts, at a controlled temperature, also carrying out malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for 48 months in 30 and 50 hectolitre French oak barrels and then, after bottling, for a long period directly in glass.
