Franciacorta DOCG Dosaggio Zero 2019 from Arcari and Danesi is a pure and sophisticated expression of the Brescia terroir. This sparkling wine is made without added dosage, allowing the natural character of the grapes to be appreciated. The varieties used, predominantly Chardonnay with a small percentage of Pinot Noir, are cultivated using organic methods that respect the environment. The wine has a straw-yellow colour and fine, persistent perlage. The nose offers a complex bouquet of white flowers, notes of citrus fruits and slight hints of toasted bread. Grattamacco Bolgheri Rosso DOC 2016

Bolgheri Rosso Grattamacco is produced from the rows of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Sangiovese that embellish a vocated hill in the upper Maremma.

The vineyards are located in a natural cradle protected from the winds coming from the nearby sea, with an extension of 14 hectares on soils that alternate between silt, red sand and calcareous marl. The grapes are carefully selected through manual sorting and then transported to the winery. The must is vinified in truncated conical wooden vats, where fermentation takes place spontaneously.

It is only during refinement in barriques for about 10 months that the different varieties, which undergo malolactic fermentation separately, are blended to create what, after about a year and a half, will become Bolgheri Rosso.

'Luce' Luce della Vite - Frescobaldi 2019

"Luce' is the result of a skilful blending of two red grapes, the international Merlot and the most identifying of the Tuscan terroir: Sangiovese. The grapes are harvested between the first and last week of September.

The must ferments for 12 days in steel tanks at a temperature not exceeding 28 degrees, macerating on the skins for 4 weeks.

Malolactic fermentation then takes place in barriques. It is aged for 24 months in 85% new barriques.

The wine is a beautiful deep ruby colour. The nose is broad and layered, surrounded by floral and fruity notes, in which balsamic touches and sweet spices are discernible. In the mouth it is full-bodied, full-bodied and assertive, with a mouthfeel that enters the palate with lively freshness and firm tannins.

It brings to mind the mild climate of the Valle dei Laghi, characterised by the constant presence of wind, and combines winemaking experience with skilful winemaking practices. In this case, the wine stays on the lees for 36 months and the resulting wine is elegant and of great complexity: once tried, it is not to be forgotten. To the eye it is straw yellow, with golden reflections; fine and persistent perlage. The nose is pleasantly complex, with hints of ripe citron, orange peel and rennet apple, followed by notes of almonds and bread crust. The palate is elegant, balanced and long lasting.
