Prevost Champagne la Closerie Extra Brut

Extra Brut of Pinot Meunier La Closerie Les Béguines is a very particular Champagne. Jerome Prevost has chosen, in fact, to cultivate his little more than two hectares of vineyard located in Gueux, at the foot of Reims Mountains, with Pinot Meunier only. He began to commercialize his Champagne in 1998 and today the few thousands of bottles he produces are in great demand. The choice of making a single label, produced with a single plot and with a single grape variety, proved to be successful and allowed him to know so well the terroir and the characteristics of grapes, in order to create a Champagne of extraordinary quality. Fermentations take place with the use of indigenous yeasts in oak barrels and base wines are aged in wood until the creation of the cuvée.

Brunello di Montalcino Le Potazzine 2012

The Brunello di Montalcino Le Potazzine 2012 is a splendid Brunello, a bottle that needs no introduction and no long preamble. Like all the wines from the Le Potazzine winery, it is refined and elegantly recounts one of Italy's most renowned terroirs. It expresses itself elegantly on the nose: it is deep and broad, with romantic nuances of red fruit, accompanied by hints of aromatic herbs and spices. On tasting it reveals its noble character, its austere tannins capable of giving a sensation of very fine harmony and an immense materiality in communicating the splendid hillocks on which the "potazzine" fly gracefully. A great Brunello di Montalcino, aged in large casks for 40 months.

Fiano 'Don Chisciotte' Pierluigi Zampaglione 2018

Don Chisciotte Zampaglione is made from Fiano grapes, from vineyards cultivated at an altitude of about 800 metres on clay and volcanic soils. Healthy grapes, only copper and sulphur are used in the vineyard, which are harvested when fully ripe.

After destemming and crushing the bunches, spontaneous fermentation starts in steel containers, with maceration on the skins for about 10 days. The liquid matures a few months in steel before bottling. The Don Chisciotte fills the glass with its golden robe.

From the first smell, it alternates notes such as lime zest, chestnut and white flowers with hints of flint.

It is a wine that plays on finesse and flavour, giving it depth without weighing it down. It is very agile thanks to its refined saline texture.
