List of products by brand Marfuga
The Marfuga farm was founded by an old farming family and takes its name from the hill of the same name where it is located. The earliest documents found in the farm's storehouse are authentic prints bearing the Papal States' marks, which prove that oil was already being sold in the 19th century.
It was then grandfather Ettore who made a decisive contribution to the development of the company since, despite his banking career, with many sacrifices dictated by his determination he managed, in 1976, to buy new olive groves and build a new oil mill. In the 1990s, his son Francesco and his wife Federica created and registered the Marfuga brand and built the new company centre, an agritourism facility surrounded by some 12,000 olive trees that allow them to welcome their customers and visitors today. Today, Marfuga's mission is to produce an excellent olive oil, to enhance the value of the area and to spread the culture of the world of olive oil by raising awareness among its staff and consumers. Marfuga's range of extra virgin olive oils boasts several bottles such as the Affiorante produced entirely with the Moraiolo cultivar, the two DOP Umbria oils, the Novello, the Organic for the most refined and demanding palates and the classic extra virgin olive oil suitable for everyday use.
