List of products by brand Ca' Viola
The Ca' Viola winery was founded out of passion by winemaker Beppe Caviola in 1991 in his native Montelupo Albese, a small village in the Langhe, from a small rented Dolcetto vineyard. One day Elio Altare, already a star of Barolo at the time, tasted a Dolcetto that Caviola had vinified by hand in his parents' garage: this is how a very successful wine story was born. Today Beppe Caviola produces, alongside the historic Barbera and Dolcetto labels, also a Barolo, which he defines as "the crowning achievement of a journey", being able to count today on 14 hectares of vineyards, divided between Montelupo and Novello. The Montelupo vines can be over 40 years old and are rooted on impressive slopes, on soil similar to that of Serralunga. The Novello vineyard is located in the small cru of Sottocastello, at an altitude of 470 metres, cultivated with Nebbiolo. The winery is located in Dogliani, in a splendid 19th century villa, called Villa Bracco. The wines of the Ca' Viola cellar are true precious jewels of the Langhe, born from the passion and competence of Beppe Caviola, who in just a few years has gone from being a successful young oenologist to a renowned producer. Dolcetto, Barbera and Barolo are the magnificent fruit of grapes and time, with little intervention in the vineyard and in the cellar.
