Barolo Arione by Giacomo Conterno is a prestigious interpretation of the Arione cru, which is located in the southernmost part of the Serralunga d'Alba area.

The Giacomo Conterno winery was founded in the early 1900s by a family that had been cultivating vines for generations on the hills of the Barolo area and includes some of the most prestigious plots in the area, which give rise to legendary labels such as Cascina Francia, Arione and Monfortino.

The extraordinary quality of the grapes, a very strict selection of only the best bunches and a work in the cellar that is patient and always very respectful of the raw material, guarantee excellence with a classic and elegant profile, capable of condensing all the essence of the Langhe land.

For the production of Brunello Riserva Poggio di Sotto, only the best grapes are used each year. The production area is in Castelnuovo dell'Abate.

The grapes undergo several selections in the vineyard and a further selection is made in the cellar. Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels. The wine remains in 30 hl oak barrels for 60 months and a further 12 months in the bottle and is bottled without filtering.

Already on the nose, one perceives another dimension. One discovers ethereal aromas such as balsamic notes, nuances of prunes, cedar wood and sultanas. Particularly fine and balanced. 

The palate reveals its complexity with a unique style, the exploration of which requires time and tranquillity.

An orchestral, fresh and casual wine that glides across the palate.

Here, Nebbiolo (whose local clone goes by the name of Picotendro), in this sunny basin straddling Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, has always received less attention than in the neighbouring Langhe of Barolo and Barbaresco, but in Carema each row of vines carries with it a very ancient history, as witnessed by the complex architecture that supports the vineyard landscape.

Carema Riserva Etichetta Bianca dei Produttori di Carema is a full-bodied and structured red wine, aged for 2 years in large barrels.

Fruity and spicy aromatic notes, with scents of rose, coffee and berries, emerge from an intense and elegant texture
