Dictador RIMA 1 22 Years Old PORT CASK Vintage 2000 - 70 cL
Rum Dictador Rima 1 Port Cask 2000 is an exclusive distillation that draws on the rich heritage of Colombia. Distilled in the year 2000 and aged under the solera method, this rum was then aged in port casks, enriching its profile with complex and sophisticated notes. On the nose, it is characterised by intense aromas of dried fruit, chocolate and a trace of damp wood. On the palate, it offers a rich flavour of vanilla, red fruits and sweet spices, with a subtle aftertaste of caramel. The finish is long and enveloping, with a persistence that hints at its exotic origins and peculiar ageing process. Presented in an elegant bottle, Dictador Rima 1 is a real gem for rum connoisseurs, ideal to be enjoyed neat or as the base for sophisticated cocktails.

The grapes, cultivated on 40 year-old plants in vineyards facing south-west, are harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities, where they ferment spontaneously thanks to the presence of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel containers, macerating at a controlled temperature for 3 weeks. The wine is then aged for 24 months in 50% new Troncais and Allier barriques. Exceptional!
