Rosso Piceno Superiore Clara Marcelli is made from a blend of mainly Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes from vineyards located at an altitude of about 280 metres on gentle hills that enjoy an excellent microclimate due to the proximity of the Adriatic Sea.
It is produced from grapes harvested by hand generally between the second half of September and the beginning of October, after careful ripening and selection.
The grapes are destemmed in the cellar and the must is fermented, using only indigenous yeasts, in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers. At the end of fermentation, the wine is drawn off, after which it is aged for several months in wooden barrels and in bottles before being sold.
