K'Un 2017 Clara Marcelli

Clara Marcelli's K'un is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes from vineyards situated at 250 metres above sea level on clayey soil. In the vineyard chemical products are banned and manual harvesting is carried out. In the cellar, fermentation takes place spontaneously in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers. The wine is aged for 18 months in barriques and 12 months in bottles. K'un presents itself in the glass with an intense purplish red colour. On the nose ripe black cherry, cocoa, earth, pepper, cloves and hints of wild herbs. A nose that disconcerts those who approach it, in search of almost unlimited scents.
